Dear Friend and Supporter,
It is with great joy that we invite you to participate in the 22nd annual Cookies & Castles: A Gingerbread Extravaganza. Benefiting the Hematology-Oncology Department at Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund for outstanding TCU Tri Delta women, this philanthropic cause is the hallmark event of Fort Worth Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Charities. We are thrilled to once again be hosting our beloved gingerbread decorating parties on Thursday, December 1 and Friday, December 2 in Walker Hall at University Christian Church.
We are so incredibly grateful for our Patrons’ support and community. In 2021, we raised $115,000 for Cook Children’s and $11,500 for the scholarship fund. Thanks to our wonderful supporters, we are continuously building on the $1M already raised for Cook Children’s since the inception of our event 20 years ago!
Cookies & Castles is fortunate to have incredible alums and community leaders supporting our mission annually. We are honored to align with numerous corporate donors in 2022 for exciting underwriting opportunities. These generous sponsors will be acknowledged at our events with placement of their company logos. Please extend a warm appreciation and recognition to these amazing community partners.
Our committee would also like to present this year’s Honorary Chair, Sara Scheideman, who embraces the value and family tradition of the gingerbread extravaganza. “I am very thankful to be this year’s Honorary Chairman for Cookies & Castles. Remembering my children and their creations, and now my grandchildren’s creations, I see the generational impact that Cookies & Castles has on not only Cook Children’s, but also on our family traditions. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. What a blessing to be a Tri Delta.”
Together with Sara, please join us in making spirits bright for pediatric patients and aspiring collegians by supporting this worthy cause. Carry on the gingerbread decorating Christmas tradition for family and friends while touching the lives of so many.
We look forward to sharing this holiday event with you!
