Cookies & Castles: A Gingerbread Extravaganza is a holiday favorite loved by so many in Fort Worth. Benefiting the Hematology-Oncology Department at Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund for outstanding TCU Tri Delta women, this philanthropic cause is the hallmark event of Fort Worth Delta Delta Delta Alumnae Charities.
This year is a year unlike any other. The uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 has required us to adapt to a new formatyet again.
While we are so excited to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of this amazing event, we have made the difficult decision to support Cook Children's Medical Center and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund through a donation-only platform this year. The safety of our committee and our longstanding supporters is of the utmost importance this year.
Please know that much thought and consideration went into making this decision. While this is a change, our dedication to Cook Children’s and the Jean Wiggin Roach Scholarship Fund remain steadfast. The patients at Cook Children’s and their families, as well as the collegiate women, need our support and love more than ever before. This year, although apart, we will still come together supporting this amazing cause.
With your support, we hope to exceed $1,000,000 in donations since our inaugural start 20 years ago. We could not do this without the support of our Patrons, and we are so grateful for our Patron’s past support. You are truly the backbone of this event.
Vicki Cantwell, Honorary Chair, is a shining example of the dedicated women who comprise Tri Delta and our wonderful city of Fort Worth. Her selfless leadership to the TCU Phi Lambda Chapter and the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter distinguishes her as a woman of integrity and praiseworthy character.
Together with Vicki and the members of Delta Delta Delta, please say “yes” to making spirits bright for pediatric patients and aspiring collegians by supporting this fun-filled worthy cause in a year unlike any other.
Please respond by September 1st with your Sponsorship. This year we’re also thrilled to announce our new website - www.cookiesandcastlesfw.com. Please visit our new website to learn more about Cookies and Castles!
